HOW WE MATCH YOU
WITH YOUR PERFECT
PUPPY

It is our belief that the most important part of the selection process is
the temperament and personality/demeanor of the pup and how well it
will fit into each family’s home.  Since each family is unique, the pup
selected for the family is also unique.  Thus, a family’s order on our
waiting list still allows them to get the pup that matches THEIR needs,
desires and family since no one else’s family make up will be the
same.  The order of placement on our waiting list really only comes
into play if there are not enough puppies, or if a family is gender
specific and there are not enough males or females to go around; then
you might be asked to wait for our next litter or we may refer you to
another premium breeder.  Although families who are able to visit our
home and meet with us personally may have more verbal input into the
selection process because they are able to see the pups, the process
is still the same for families who visit and families who do not – we help
you to make the best match based on the best fit for your family.

Our process begins by culling through the pups for obvious
preferences:  gender, size, color, and coat.  We administer the
BioSensor (“SuperPuppy”) program to our pups from days 3 through
16 (

we make notations of any noticeable temperament traits, even at such
a young age. Once the pups start showing their personalities and
temperaments (between three and four weeks of age), we are able to
get a better idea of whether our initial selections, if any, are correct,
and adjustments are made if needed.  If at 5 and 6 weeks we note that
any selection adjustments should be made due to personalities, we
make our observations known to the families.  Final matches are made
at 6 weeks of age after the pups have had full examinations by our
vets.

We take into consideration the activity level of the pup compared to the
activity level of the family.  We consider whether the household has
small children, older children, or are without children; if the household
has other pets and if so, the existing pet’s age and gender.  We take
into consideration all requests as noted in the application.

We will not place a pup just for the sake of selling a dog – if for any
reason we don’t have the right fit, we will let you know. We have 100%
track record with placing the right pups with the right families.  We have
testimonial emails that support our selections and we will be happy to
share those with you.

We hope this helps explain our selection process.  If you have any
questions, please let us know.
